The ECM-674 features a super-cardioid polar pattern for excellent directivity and minimal noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule, resulting in intelligible voice pickup even in noisy environments. The microphone's wide, flat frequency response yields smooth, accurate signal reproduction with crisp detail and minimal colouration.
The ECM-674 can be powered with a single AA battery (available separately) or 40 to 52 VDC phantom power, making it compatible with a variety of consumer and professional devices. It includes microphone spacers and a mic holder to accommodate camera-mount and stand-mount configurations.
